Our IPBWS
Community

The IPBWS community extends beyond the gathering itself. As part of our continued commitment to scholarship, collaboration, and collective care, IPBWS seeks to build and maintain a network of Black women scholars who remain connected long after the gathering concludes.

This private space is designed to cultivate community by providing a place where participants can continue engaging with one another—sharing ideas, resources, opportunities, and ongoing work. It serves as a digital extension of the relationships, conversations, and collaborations that begin during the IPBWS gathering.

Through this network, members can:

  • Stay connected with fellow scholars across institutions, disciplines, and regions

  • Share research updates, publications, and projects

  • Exchange resources, opportunities, and calls for collaboration

  • Foster mentorship, support, and intellectual community among Black women scholars

Access to the pages within this section is available only to individuals who have attended an IPBWS gathering. This ensures that the space remains a trusted environment for continued dialogue, connection, and scholarly engagement.
